This was the second elevator to be inaugurated. Since October 24, 1885, it has connected Praça dos Restauradores to Bairro Alto.
Lavra Funicular (out of service)
This funicular is the oldest in the city. Opened on April 19, 1884, it connects Largo da Anunciada and Travessa Forno do Torel, and is an example of Lisbon's historic charm.
