Service access:
You must prove your incapacity to have access to this service, presenting the proof document on Santo Amaro station. You must also deliver a recent photo and show your identity card so that Carris can emit a card that gives you the right to use this special service.

Reservations must be made until two days before the trip. The confirmation has to be made by the customer on the day before. Any desistance not communicated implies the trip payment on the following utilization of the service.
Reduced Mobility Service on Regular Public Service Buses
CARRIS invested on public service fleet adaptation in order to get suitable conditions for people with reduced mobility.
Important facts:
More than ¾ of our buses have low floor between the front entrance and rear exit doors;
About 30% of our fleet has room for wheelchair users, manual access ramp;
In 2009, 43% of our fleet will be totally accessible for people with reduced mobility, with the acquisition of 60 new buses with access ramps for electric wheelchairs.
