4_18@escola.tp Card is the new school pass for students between 4 and 18 years old (inclusive) who are attending elementary or secondary school and who do not benefit for municipal transport.

4_18@escola.tp Card owners have a 50% discount on public transport between home and school.
With this card you can make as many trips as you wish, whenever you want, but only on the geographical area or routes where 4_18@escola.tp card is valid. The 4_18@escola.tp pass can be used for 12 months, beginning on September, and it allows you to travel in the same area or route as normal passes. And all this... for half price!

  Which public transports are included? 

All collective passenger transports, road or fluvial, as well as urban and regional railways. All municipal transports that may adhere to 4_18@escola.tp will also be included.

  Como pedir o 4_18@escola.tp? 

To have a 50% discount using 4_18@escola.tp you must:

  1. Get a declaration from your school attesting that you do not benefit from municipal transport;
  2. Fill a requisition, signed by the student or his tutor, requesting 4_18@escola.tp advantages. The requisition is available at any public transport company.
  3. This two documents must be delivered at the transport companies that will sell the card and the pass with a 50% discount.
  4. At the beginning of each scholar year, you must present a new declaration from school to keep your 50% discount right.
  5. This card is valid for a 4 year period, until the end of the month you turn 19.
For children under 6 years old

Children who, at December 31, are under 6 years old, do not have to present the declaration from school. To get 4_18@escola.tp benefits they just have to deliver the requisition and the following documents:
  • Identity Card or Birth Certificate for age checking

  • A water, electricity or telephone receipt from his parents/tutor or a document passed by the Parish Council of his residence area to attest child's address.

  How to use it? 

From the moment the documents are delivered, the transport company will emit 4_18@escola.tp card for half price. You must pay attention to the following:

  • If you already have a Lisboa Viva card, you may exchange it for free to a 4_18@escola.tp card on the transport operator.

  • To have access to monthly pass 4_18 you must purchase the title, using stickers or charging the card. You must always present 4_18@escola.tp card.
